After the unmitigated success of the Ashbourne camping weekend where illuminated tents and set ups were the norm. It was suggested we have another one  in 2020 with the illuminated tents as part of the weekend.

A beautiful area with some good driving roads and we only scratched the surface.

The camp site know of our intentions and are willing to have us back on the wekend of the 11th and 12th of July 2020.

Great idea!   Mandy seemed to be up for it and possibly camping as well :)    Will mark my calendar now and mention it to her tonight.  Look forward to it!

I bet Mandy finds a nice B&B to camp in. :D

Need to mark this in my diary too. Really enjoyed last weekend.

It looked awesome, Illuminated flagpoles, solar fairy lights, tents obliterated in lights and a Buggy lit up

See where we are going with this one ?

Festival of light plans are progressing.
Can anyone recommend a suitable towbar for my buggy?

Common end farm camp site Ashbourne, https://www.commonendfarmcampsite.co.uk/  guess we had better see about booking the site for the same weekend next year before to long.

Well I found that this campsite has a barn conversion with its own kitchen, lounge and dinning rooms - they do recommend local caters called 'Upper Crust Catering' and a bespoke laundry service. So I have booked in for nights of Friday 10th & Saturday 11th July.

I am looking forward to a much-vaulted local bespoke light festival that apparently take place in the neighbouring campsite.

Let's have a list of people who are going:

Leebow & Jenny - Saturday daytime only
Hugh - local b
Dave M - local b
Krug & Mandy - local b
Allan & Vanessa - local b
Dave C & Gail - camping
