The "Modified" question is for DVLA to decide if you fit into their pigeon hole for MOT exemption, which you do not. Yes, you have a modified vehicle, and ticking that box means nothing more than you car requires an MOT certificate.

Oh, and FYI, none of the details in our Buggy register have ever been passed over to anyone else - I am actually collating information for another argument that is looming on the horizon that has not yet been announced. Just means I can respond with both barrels (yet again) should DVLA ever decide to open a can of worms on their side. We are actually a few steps ahead of them thanks to people registering their Buggys here
