Almost ready to pull the trigger on a SWB Manta Ray that needs some fixing up. Comes with engine wheels and good tyres. Has had a lot of stuff powder coated and has a good chunk,of stuff to get it close to the finish line. Body is a bit of a Turin shroud candidate but could be glassed and fettled back into shape. Does 1k sound like a good deal?

1k is a bargain you cannot say no,
I paid 700 for a buggy that was stood outside for 6 years that was 5 years ago, body was scrap, pans not bad, engine in need of a rebuild but a complete basket case.

As I mentioned it's got good wheels and tyres, all the running gear is more or less there. One pan may need some patching. Engine is free and has a lot of the dress up bits you would normally go for.

Have a look in the buggypedia section, the manta was built using a modified GP swb shell later made as CTR buggies.
